Product DescriptionThe widely-anticipated and eagerly-awaited Sony Playstation 3 was released November, 17th 2006. The product is equipped with the computational power of the IBM Cell Processor and a Nvidia-based Graphics Processor along with a Blu-ray drive to access content at a rate of 48Mbps. The PS3 ships with one wireless Bluetooth controller capable of detecting controller movements during play. A 60GB hard drive for the recording movies and storing game files is included along with an Ethernet or WiFi interface for downloading content or access to online gaming. The PS3 supports an array of monitors by way of composite A/V and an HDMI port which allows the unit to digitally connect to a high-definition TV. In addition, the product is equipped with multiple flash card readers such as CF, SD and memory stick.
