Product Description

After spending 3 years in preparation for the launch of its first Smartphone, Guangdong-based TCL went into production with the e757 in October 2003. The PDA-phone features a touch-sensitive 176x220 pixel 65K-color TFD display, a portion of which is visible through a narrow window in the cover when the clam shell is closed. The phone, which is based on a dual band GSM900 and DCS1800 platform, supports GPRS Class 10 and China Mobile’s Monternet Smartphone Portal, an Internet service for small screen portables. The handset operates as a normal PDA without the SIM card, uses USB for interface with a PC, and has both Chinese and English handwriting recognition.
