Product Description

The Quickfire GTX75 is a quadband GSM and WCDMA slider phone currently offered only from AT&T. It offers two popular features – a touch screen display and a full QWERTY keypad. The Quickfire’s QWERTY keypad is accessible when the display slides out, a similar form factor as the 2002 Sidekick from Danger Inc. (see pages 5-6). Its 262144 color, TFT display is bright and crisp, but it does not automatically rotate into landscape mode unless the QWERTY keypad is being utilized. The Quickfire’s other features include Bluetooth v1.2, voice recognition controls, flight mode, 29MB internal memory, microSD expandable memory up to 8GB, streaming radio, media player supporting MP3,MIDI,AAC,AAC+, and AMR music file formats. The power and keypad (display) lock are controlled with a flush rocker type button. When the keypad lock is engaged, the display shows a lock graphic falling to the bottom of the screen. To unlock the phone, the user touches the lock before it reaches the bottom, (if the phone was already in keylock mode, touching any button will make the lock appear on the display). The Quickfire weighs 140.1 grams and is powered by a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-Polymer battery.
