Product DescriptionZTE offers the U980, a compact stylish black and silvered mobile handset targeting Chinese business users. It comes equipped with the Qtopia (Trolltech) “intelligent” platform for Mobile Linux applications. The U980 provides Internet access via WAP2.0, video downloading, recording, and streaming, mobile stock tracking, and EDGE data capability. A VGA-resolution camera for video conferencing is joined by a second 2MP camera with auto-focus, digital zoom, self-portrait mirror, and nighttime-lighting compensation. A trackball similar to that of the RIM “Pearl” series and stylus-based touchscreen are used for navigation across the 2.8” QVGA TFT-LCD display with 262,144-color capability. Other features include GPS, music player, and 1,000- contact phonebook. The phone kit includes two 3.7V/1,500mAh Li-ion batteries, two styluses, desktop charger, USB cable, AC adaptor, headphone/hands-free cable, product literature, plus GSM and TD-SCDMA SIM cards.
