Product DescriptionLenovo Mobile was established in 2002 as a subsidiary of Lenovo Group Limited and subsequently sold to Legend Holdings in January 2008 with the rights to use the Lenovo branding. The TD800 flip phone, also known as the Dragon, was released in China in April 2008. The phone is Lenovo Mobile’s first 3G handset supporting China’s proprietary TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) protocol as well as GSM. The technology supports data transmission speeds up to 2Mbps. The TD800’s 2.2-inch, 65K-color TFT-LCD with 176 x 220 pixels is joined by an external 1-inch 96 x 64 monochrome OLED. A 1.3MP rotating camera in the phone’s hinge is capable of photo and video recording. Additional memory is supplied by an microSD expansion slot located within the battery compartment. The TD800 comes equipped with Bluetooth and supports MP3 music playback as well as MP4 and 3GP video playback.
