Product DescriptionWeighing a little over 107 grams, the quad-band GSM ROKR E8 has a 2MP camera with 8x digital zoom, a sensitive circular scroll wheel, and a virtual keypad with an almost touchscreen feel. Haptic feedback is provided and the keypad region vibrates in localized fashion when a number is pressed. When the phone is off, the phone is uniformly black, with silver rivets and a bit of silver trim around the trackball scroll. The ROKR E8 has 2GB of internal memory, expandable to 4GB with the microSD memory slot. The phone is geared towards music-conscious users, with an FM radio tuner and support for MIDI, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, AMR-NB, and RealAudio music files. Motorola’s ModeShift technology allows the user to toggle between music player and phone function with the touch of a virtual button. The ROKR also supports MMS, SMS, e-mails, and instant messaging. Other features include a USB 2.0 interface port, separate headphone jack, Bluetooth, full web browser, and voice readout of text messages. The ROKR sports a 2-inch QVGA TFT-LCD display supporting 262,144 colors, and is powered by a 3.7V/930mAh Li-ion battery.
