The camera body contains a 14-megapixel Exmor HD CMOS sensor and employs a new Bionz processor with a 3-inch, 921,000 dot, tilting LCD. The camera supports continuous autofocus and exposure adjustment while recording video and includes impressive  features such as sweep panorama, auto high dynamic range shooting, handheld twilight and anti-motion blur modes, burst shooting modes, and more.

It features a 3-in. touchscreen that covers most of the back enclosure. The only mechanical switch is the power button on the top (even the shutter button is a touch-sensitive screen icon). A lever on the side is used to open the small door on the top for extending the USB connector. The entire bottom is a long narrow door for accessing the HDMI mini connector, the SD card slot, and the A/V connector. As the camcorder does not come with an AC adapter, the internal battery is charged through the USB connector.

This new camera, which cost $100 less than the W1, is smaller and lighter with many improvements, including Auto 3D mode, a wider (3.5”) display with 1.15 million pixels, mini HDMI jack, and stereo sound. A newly developed Real Photo Processor is used to merge the left and right images into a single image. The camera can also be used in 2D mode to take two shots of the same scene simultaneously, but with different zoom, color, and sensitivity settings for each shot. The W3 has a stainless steel frame and memory card slot and uses a 3.6 V/1000 mAh Li-ion battery.</description>

<title>Walgreens 5MP Loyalty Digital Camera</title>

The camera sells for under $30 and features a 5.1MP image sensor with 4x digital zoom, 1.5-inch LCD, self-timer, and automatic flash. The camera holds up to 50 pictures, which must be returned to a Walgreens Drug Store for print processing. In addition to the prints, a storage CD containing the photos is also provided by Walgreens for transferring the original photos to a computer. After processing at Walgreens, the reusable camera is returned to the purchaser with the memory cleared. This compact camera weighs slightly over 100 grams, including the three AAA batteries (not supplied) that power it. </description>

Both models were introduced by Sony in January 2010,  and are the first Cyber-shots with in-camera Backlight Correction High Dynamic Range (HDR) for better lighting management. The TX7 (analyzed here) uses Sony’s 10.2MP “Exmor R” back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and a Carl Zeiss 25mm wide angle lens with 4x optical zoom. Other features include 10fps burst shooting, Intelligent Sweep Panorama for automatically stitching wide angle shots, 17 shooting modes, and a 3.5” TFT display with touchscreen.

It is also shockproof and can withstand drops of up to 3.3 feet (1 meter) as well as operate at temperatures as low as -10° Celsius. The flagship Stylus-9000,  analyzed in this report, has an equivalent wide-angle zoom coverage of 28-280mm and includes the latest 2.7” Olympus HyperCrystal III display, which is reported to be twice as bright as previous versions. Other features include In-Camera Panorama Mode, for stitching up to three shots together; Intelligent Auto Mode, for selecting appropriate mode scenes; Smile Detection, for tracking smiles; Shadow Adjustment Technology, to soften shadows; and Beauty Mode, to smooth out wrinkles. The dual-image stabilization combines both mechanical sensor shift  and ISO boost.  </description>

<title>Pure Digital Flip Video Mino  Camcorder</title>
<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.portelligent.com/pages/resizeimage.aspx?imageurl=Pure_Digital_Tech-Flip_Video.jpg&width=50" />]]>According to popular online reviewer CyndiA, the Flip Mino is a tiny video-making machine about the size of a cell phone that she could visualize in Marilyn Monroe’s purse (for today’s generation, think Paris Hilton). The straight-to-web video camcorder is Pure Digital Technologies’ fourth-generation design. With the camera lens on one side and a 1.45” transflective, anti-glare LCD and touch-sensitive controls on the other side, the Mino measures only 100 x 50 x 20 mm. The camcorder is equipped with 2GB of internal flash memory (but no expansion card slot) and shoots VGA-resolution videos.
