|  | Product DescriptionThe Motorola Backflip is a clamshell designed phone with a twist, or rather a ‘flip’. The phone is designed to have both the display and the QWERTY keyboard exposed to the outside when the phone is closed. Only the capacitive touchscreen display can be active when closed, and the keyboard will only work when the phone is fully opened. The Android base Motorola Backflip was released in Q1 of 2010. It is a quad-band GSM, W-CDMA phone, with a capacitive touchscreen display with auto-rotate, and an additional BACKTRACK capacitive navigation touchpad. The Backflip comes pre-installed with a 2 GB MicroSD memory card which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The display can be customized to quickly access and stay connected to social network sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter.
The Backflip has all of the common messaging features such as text, MMS, and Instant Messaging via AOl, Windows Messenger, Yahoo!, and Google. Its navigation features include aGPS, Google Maps, Google Latitude, Google Maps Street View, eCompass, AT&T Navigation and geo-tagging for photos taken with its 5MP camera.
Additional features include: speech recognition, email, MS Office, PDF reader, calculator, calendar, and clock.
